I'm Doin' All Right
03:33
|

Another day just gone by
9 to 5 at the factory line
When I come back home I see you smiling
I see you shining
Ain't no better place like home
Daddy my swing needs a fix
Sure I'll come down just give me a kiss
Playin' ball with the kids I Don't need any other kicks
Ain't no better place like this
I'm just a simple man with workman's hands
Tryin' my best to be a loving man
And I think that I'm doin' all right
I play these simple songs
And the same old chords
Train' my best to express my love
And I think that I'm doin' all right
Sometimes life gets too hard
Tryin' to avoid that trail to the bar
Or maybe just a drink or two
With Billy and Bob and the shining moon
I guess I'm gonna be all right
As we walk this golden trail
Made of fallen leaves
We've got everything we ever did believe in
As we stand here side by side
Watching' world go by
Sure is beautiful like that joyful tear in your eye

Again and Again
03:39
|
|||
Through the colors of fall
I get back to the lake
To the sounds of joy and laughter of
The summer gone by
Across the blue sky
Beyond the frozen fields
There lies my source of love
Special kind
And you smile when I tell a stupid joke
You put a record player on
And play the Harvest Moon again
Again and again and again
I want you to be with me all night long
Until the morning shines back on
Can You be my special friend
Again and again
When I hear our song
I get back to the lake
All of the sudden it's warm again
Again and again
I wonder where you are
I wonder what you do
How you feel when you hear our song
Again and again
May the blackbird sing again
And the rivers flow
may the sun shine in your eyes
Would you return
Would you look in my eyes
Again and again

Time
05:17
|
|||
Time is a healer my friend
Time is salvation for our sins
Time will warmly tuck you in
Or leave you shivering, freezing in the wind
Time is the only thing we have
The only thing we claim we never have
So make sure you'll spend it wise
'Cause you won't get around to do it twice
So I kiss you on your cheek
As I see you sleep and you are mine
All by mine tonight and we are safe
I might as well stay awake
As I look out to the east
The sun will rise and glide entire sky
Soon it will burn away the sweet morning rise
I better open my eyes and see the light
It is time to love
Time to hold you by my side
Time to walk across the shore line
Before it all goes by, oh my
The day may bring a storm
Hurricane, or a gale, oh well
And all of a sudden the night appears
with its stars shining upon our bond
Or is it all gone?
Can we survive or is it time to say good bye?
My love, my love
Or time to consolidate
Time to bring back time my love
My love
Time will tell
Time will embrace
Time will whip and
Time will heal my love
I will love you
Until
The end of time

Alabama Sky
04:18
|
|||
I was born in Helsinki city
Right by the river with its water pretty filthy
Born and raised on the swamp land
My old man taught me how to be a proper man
As I grew up I got tired of these corners,
yearned to get behind these borders
So got myself an old car hit the road pretty far
Just to get me out to somewhere warm
After driving mad long hours, I came to London Town
Hit the pub by the river
Got me a pint of that golden brown
That's where I met an old Scotsman
He gave me a lesson bout the Whiskey and them isles
He said: "son you oughta come see the north"
I said: "Thanks but guess I'm heading across the bond"
I sold my car and jumped to the plane,
Found myself at Virginia plains
Right next to tobacco fields as big as I've ever seen
Got myself a pick up truck
I thought I better head to the south
Where the music and the sun will shine
Alabama baby here I come
I-64 and I-40 to Nashville, TN
Country music and pretty girls, oh lord so much to see
But I don't need no more big city
Country side will do me just fine
So I turned deeper to south
Under the Alabama sky
I'm gonna be just fine
The Muscle Shoals had the Swampers
They were known for a song or two
Pit stop at Birmingham things got a bit out of hands
Then down to Tuscaloosa to seem Crimson Tide
Tailgates and sunshine this is where
I'm gonna set myself right
Under the Alabama sky
I found a heaven Roll Tide!
Deep rivers and blue skies
Southern cookie' and the sweet wine
This is where I belong
Don't get me wrong
Sweet living' at the heart of Dixie
Under the Alabama sky

Don't Worry Bout None
03:36
|
|||
I was walking down the road and I was feeling' low
Hung over, depressed with a hole in my soul
The sun was shining, I was not
That's when a dog crossed the road and passed me by
Turn around and looked back straight to my eyes and said:
"Son, don't you worry 'bout none"
So I took him to my house and fixed him a plate
He said: "You're a good man, let me help you get on a date!"
Let the good times roll, ain't no reason to feel no low
When you gotta friend, who won't pretend
And the sun will always shine, when you got a
Tail wagger by your side, who will remind you:
Don't you worry bout none
We were strolling' down the mall, just killing' time
When this fine lookin' girl looked straight to my eyes and said:
"Oh how cute is your friend!"
And you wagged your tail, jumped up and down
Did all your tricks my own special hound and her heart
Just melted away.
And I finally got around to ask her out.
And she said. "Yes, but please can you bring the hound"

When We Were Young
03:57
|
|||
Once upon a time I met a girl with an orange scarf
She had curly hair and her eyes they shone like stars
It was after summer, on a windy day
When she gave me a smile and stole my heart away
And since that day my life was not the same
I met girl I'd marry on one day
Now I Cherish those old days as I drive to memory lane
And remember the days when we were young
Following years we travelled around
Got lost in cities and a couple smaller towns
Had no money but all the time in the world
Little milk and honey, and a bottle of love
Since those days my life was not the same
I met a girl I'd marry on one day
Now I'm sitting on my porch, and I pick my old guitar
And remember the days when were young
The on one sunny day we walked to the aisle
Hand in hand together we did stand
There was that question
Out of the blue
And you gave a smile and I said:
"Oh yes I do!"
And since that day my life was not the same
I met a girl I married on that day
You still have that orange scarf
And how beautiful you are
Like on those days when we were young
Like on those days when we were young
